I am a facilitator, educator, leader, and writer who works at the intersection of race, ability, and gender. In all my work, I draw upon my experiences in youth development, racial equity, adult learning theory, and cultural responsiveness. I seek to create inclusive, accessible, and engaging spaces for teams to collaboratively design and implement strategies to meet the diverse needs of their constituents.

Training & Facilitation
I have developed and facilitated trainings on a variety of topics – everything from basic skills such as how to use the company phone system to more challenging subject matter such as structural racism, anti-bias, and trauma-informed practices. I have facilitated several strategic planning sessions, board retreats, and other leadership gatherings.
My facilitation style involves an active participatory approach. This includes opportunities to work in multiple group settings and utilize different planning and consensus building strategies. As an experienced facilitator for adults working with young people, my trainings and meetings are designed to meet the needs of adult learners, including providing opportunities for participants to learn from the experiences of those in the room (the facilitator is not the expert), learn through multiple modalities (verbal, written, and movement), and apply the day’s content or focus to personal lives or work (through implementation plans, next steps, and reflection).
I have used a variety of tools to support virtual learning and collaboration as well, including Teams and Zoom, ReadyTalk, Adobe Connect, PowerPoint, GoToMeeting, and Google.
Public Speaking
I enjoy sharing my experiences with others. I have delivered multiple keynote addresses and am available for virtual or in-person public speaking engagements. I am happy to work with you to design a keynote that amplifies your event’s theme or purpose and ensure your audience leaves feeling inspired and/or ready to take action.
